Blog Hop: Christmas Home Decor Blog Hop

Welcome to the Christmas Home Decor Blog Hop! This is a two day hop.  If you are coming from Ashley - http://
theglamoroussideofscrapping.blogspot.com then you are in the right spot!

For my second project, I am going to highlight some homemade ornaments that we have on our tree.  We have been collecting ornaments for years, even before we met (thanks my mother in law :)).  A lot of ours are homemade. Made by us or made by friends or family that have been given to us.

I made this Nutcracker ornament last year out of a domino. I stamped it on the domino, painted it, sealed it and embellished it. It is sort of my signature work.  I sometimes sell domino jewelry.
This ornament is one of my FAVORITE handmade ornaments. When we were in college (**COUGH COUGH**) years ago, my girlfriend made these for all of us roommates. She decided to put our majors on them which we lovingly made fun of her for.  After all these years, it still exists and is on my Christmas tree every year. I giggle each time this little guy smiles up at me.
This ornament was given to me by my upline last year :).
My kids also have ornaments on the tree, of course! We made these ones three years ago at a local paint ceramic places.

This ornament was made by our old landlord. She is quite talented. She made this ornament for us when we got married. She even made ones for our cats that I put up every year :)

Last year we made cinnamon glue ornaments (which we did not make them thick enough) and they broke :|.  I am planning on doing an ornament making day when the kids are off of school to add to our collection. I have a list of ideas saved in Pinterest. Can't wait for that project!
Thanks for stopping by and I hoped you enjoyed your stay.  Next stop is  Judy-http://www.scrappingjudy.blogspot.com/.
